What to define before buying big bags.
A big bag, also called a bulk bag or FIBC (flexible intermediate bulk container), is a woven polypropylene bag used to move and store bulk products in large volumes. It is used in mining, agribusiness, construction and the chemical industry.
To quote the right bag, we need to know four things: the load each bag will carry, the filling method (open top or filling spout), the discharge method (closed bottom or spout) and whether the product needs an inner liner to protect it from moisture or prevent fine material from leaking.
