What PLAFT is

A system that protects your company.

The PLAFT is Peru's system for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing. In Peru, companies classified as obliged entities must implement it and report to Peru's Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF-Perú), part of the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and Pension Funds (SBS).

A well-implemented PLAFT system lets you know your clients, suppliers and employees, detect unusual transactions and respond to supervision. It also protects your company's reputation with banks, partners and corporate clients, who increasingly demand stronger controls from their suppliers.

We support you throughout the process

We don't just hand you a manual. We support you from the initial assessment to the compliance officer, with a team that works with corporate companies and knows how the regulation is applied in practice.

And if your company runs complex projects, you can add our project management using the PMBOK methodology.

How we implement it

Four stages. A system that works.

1

Assessment

We identify money laundering risks based on your activity, your clients and your areas of operation.

2

System design

We draft the manual, the code of conduct and the due diligence procedures.

3

Implementation

We train your team and set up the records and controls.

4

Compliance officer

We support the compliance function and the ongoing monitoring of the system.
